Predictify
A football prediction app on both app stores, built by one person who does not write code.

The situation
Predictify is my own product, not a client project, and that is exactly why it is on this site. It is the proof that the approach works, because nobody was covering for me.
The idea was a prediction game where football fans score points for calling match results, ranked against everyone else.
The version of that idea a studio would quote for involves a backend team, a mobile team, and a year.
What got built
- 53 competitions covered.
- A rating system with 21 ranks, from Amateur to GOAT, with scoring weighted by how unlikely a correct prediction was.
- Two core modes: season long leagues, and weekly groups of 100 players.
- Private leagues any user can create and share with a code.
- Five daily mini games, including one where you identify a player from the clubs he passed through, and one where you name all 22 starters from a given match.
- A 15 table database schema, built across 8 development phases.
- Subscriptions through RevenueCat.
- Store listings localised into Croatian, German and Spanish.
The Apple review
The iOS review was not smooth, and this is the part worth reading if you are thinking about shipping an app. Five separate rejection issues came back.
- A trademark problem with how a World Cup feature was named, which meant renaming the whole feature.
- A metadata and copycat flag.
- The order in which tracking consent and GDPR consent were being requested.
- The prominence of billing information on the subscription paywall.
- And an age rating question about whether a free prediction game counts as simulated gambling.
All five got resolved and the app went live. That process is where most solo app projects die.
Underneath
React Native and Expo on the front end, Supabase behind it. Every line of implementation written with Claude Code. I made the product decisions, the architecture decisions, and the calls about what mattered.
I did not type the code.
Tell me where your week goes.
Thirty minutes. If I cannot help, I will say so on the call.
